New addition to the family

     
      Have you ever had someone who means so much to you because of certain reasons?   We all

have that family member that changes our whole perspective about life and how we live it.   They

could have made a big impact on your life or maybe even a death of a family member can

change your perspective on life.   Even adding someone new to your family could change your

life.
     
      The family member that made me change my perspective on life would have to be my  

adopted little cousin Shannon, she means a lot to my family and to me.   Although, being in our

family for a little amount of time she’s already made such a big impact on all our lives.   My aunt

Yolonda adopting my little cousin Shannon was one of the most heartwarming experiences of

my life because I now open my eyes to be grateful for the things I do have and the family that

I’m surrounded by in my daily life.   Now Shannon can experience what it is like to have a family

that loves her and cares for her.
     
        It was my aunt’s birthday August 11th, We were all celebrating her birthday having fun,

hanging out around my aunt’s back yard, kids running and playing in and out of the pool, adults

laughing, everyone just enjoying family time.   When the party was over my aunt had to

make a very important announcement to the whole family before we all left,   we were all so

curious of what the announcement could be.   It came time for her to tell us her announcement,

you can tell she was very happy to say whatever she had to say.   The announcement wasn’t quite

an original announcement.   My Aunt went in the house telling us all she was to return with a

special surprise.   About thirty seconds later, out came my aunt and in her arms was a precious

little girl, dark brown hair, and with the prettiest big brown eyes, and a smile that would melt
