As we all know Bead Bar uses out of date technology in their daily operations. Every time you use the old conventional paper methods you are basically throwing away money in all the lost invoices, delays, and improperly placed orders. Lost revenue that you could be avoiding easily by just changing one way the business is operated would sound great to anyone, right? So you want to know how right, because I have an idea that would be of great value to the company.
So my idea is to upgrade Bead Bar from the old fashion paper invoices to an entirely new way, by putting up a network for Bead Bar to utilize. This will cut down the time it takes to fill out the paper work and cut the time employees will spend looking for invoices. Less time employees spend on the paperwork or searching for it means cutting costs. With this said I hope that it brings some needed attention towards how business is done with Bead Bar.
As I look at Bead Bar’s current operations, I have realized that they are out of date and need upgrading. They utilize paper invoices that are time consuming for the employees and create havoc in the workplace, as employees spend time looking for invoices they could be doing something more constructive. There is also the fact that there are more than one locations of Bead Bar and with paper invoices they waste the environment and the fact that they are slow when compared to sharing information on a network as it would allow all locations to see every invoice from any location. That means no more time spent calling another location to and having them fax or mail the information that is needed, it would be right there on any computer; home or office. A network can also allow customers to create their own jewelry online and then have it shipped to them, thus allowing Bead Bar to open up to a new area that was unreachable before.
