"Jenny!!" the sweet sounds of my grandmas voice turns to almost a
screeching worried sound. I jump up out of bed and run out to the living
room but only to find no one there. At the end of the table is my
grandma sitting there in almost disbelief. She breathes in and wants to
say something but it seems as if the words she has tried to assemble
cannot be complete. As I turn to walk into the kitchen, this knock comes
from the front door. So I begin to gradually open the door and this face
appears similar to mine same eyes, same curly hair, and the same skin
tone. He sits down and starts to speak but then stops immediately and
begins cry. Finally his lips utters the words "I am your father", he
hands shake and the room turns quiet. My heart starts beating faster and
faster, then my palms begin to sweat and I can feel my body start
getting warm. By then my heart began to ache and I felt it in my throat,
so I clenched my teeth and sat is awe. Could this really be? Is this my
dad? Why would he wait 16 years? Do I have brothers and sisters? Nothing
was clear and I could see my eyes approaching the blurry stage and felt
the tears jump out of my eyes and ran down my face. They just kept
coming I thought I had been crying for several days when it was only
about five minutes. The atmosphere in the room became voiceless all that
I heard was myself sniffing.
