Besides his academic excellence one cannot but admire his personality, which is multi dimensional. He is a very caring individual with polite mannerisms and superb communicational skills. He is proactive when it comes to helping others be it his peers or seniors whether it is for a project in college or a voluntary work. When on 4th September, 2007 a bomb blast hit near our school it turned a new leaf in his life, a more responsible and serious Ali took birth that day. Immediately after the bomb blast he volunteered to take care of the injured and the distressed of the blast at the Rawalpindi Hospital. He deemed that the change to a peaceful future must flow from the youth and was ready to go to any length for the achievement of this cherished dream of his. Against my advice, as I was concerned about his studies, he took the initiative all by himself and launched a website (http://Peacebrushes.com) of his own where posters conceived and drawn by him and other students are sold to raise money for humane causes, but looking at the success of his website and the impact that it had on other students, I must say that Ali has made all of us more proud than any more A grades could possibly do. He has set up an example for other students that at times your social and human responsibilities take lead over every thing else. He always achieves good grades but more importantly his "Peacebrushes" initiative has earned him the most respect from all students and teachers.. He recently donated a sum of Rs.10, 000 raised by the sales at his website, to an NGO which is working for the rehabilitation and normalisation of the refugees affected by the Military Operation
