Social Web
Social web is defined as the second generation of the World Wide Web which focuses heavily on user- generated content, communities networking, and social interaction. It is also known as web 2.0. The most basic level of web 2.0 allows people who visit the sites to leave their own comments for others to see. One of the most exciting parts of using the web 2.0 is that you are the one who is doing the writing on your post. The idea of web 2.0 was not to invent something new but to simply realize the potential of what was already being used by everyone. When using the web 2.0 we don’t have to worry about the complicated programming that is going on behind the scenes. The web 2.0 program is collaborative and revolutionary. We have some new online user experiences thanks to the web 2.0. Some of the new experiences are called blogging and tweeting. The term blogging is explained as just like you are writing a diary it is just not under lock and key it is where everyone can see your thoughts and ideas. The next term is called tweeting and what this means is that you post short entries up to 140 charters. Twitter is considered a blog and this is where you would find tweets. Face book is where you can find post and remarks of any length to what someone has written.
