Introduction

With the TGL open up its business with 10 employees due to textiles manufacture base in a small city like Bradford. Until now, ten years later the TGL growth rapidly with variety departments, such as Accounting and Design moreover the TGL has local, national and international retailers and whole sellers. Recently TGL was planned to launch a new department information system department to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness. To develop TGL and win the competition in local, national or even international, initial priority is to have a good network infrastructure to facilitate organizational wide computing to integrate with different system and department. Meanwhile TGL also want to involve the latest technologies to expand its market such as e-business and other software. Thus this report was to produce a role and acquisition of information system for TGL for its senior management and line management. There are four assignment tasks each of them as part of the assignment.








Task 1
Within business system environment the company has been affected by internal and external environment. The internal environment includes competitors, customer, supplier and owners. The external environment consists of technology, culture, politics, government, and economy. To analyze system environment of TGL could from there five factors. First one the competitors of TGL is local garment shop. Because the TGL based in 2 major cities thus its competitors are local clothes shops or some national clothes shops such as Topshop, H & M, or Bank could be the majority competitors. Then the customers of TGL usually the local citizen based on its business units. Next is a geographic location of TGL can be example of a clothes shop based on Bradford and Halifax.
