Subject: Application for the position of Treasurer

I am writing to apply for the position of treasurer in your company. It was advertised in the Classified Post on 28/2/2012. I am now employed as a Financial Manager at Fin Fin Ltd. I have been in this post for about 4 years, where I gained experience in financial management.

Before this job, I worked as an assistant financial manager at Wing Ring Ltd Company. Although there were difficult times, I helped the financial manager to overcome those difficulties and gave useful advice about the company’s bank facilities. In my present position, I have cultivated different kinds of commercial and business acumen and also deal with colleagues of all level within the company.

After I graduated from the University of Hong Kong, I was employed as an accountant in HSBC for 3 years. During this time, I made outstanding financial plans and presentations. Furthermore, I have pursued further studies in Finance/Accounting and financial management. Further details are listed in my CV.

I have also enriched my language skills by taking tutorial classes in English, Mandarin and French. This is because I understand that value – added is the only way to become a better employee. What is more, I have joined several exchange tours with different financial companies in other countries, so as to get to know more about international financial management. This involved how to manage the money flow in a company and how to plan for the future for a firm.

As a qualified accountant, I am a responsible and energetic person and you may rest assured that, I will devote all my efforts to this job.
