Abortion kills innocent victims

    Some people believe abortion should be legal, and others believe it should be illegal. Abortion should be illegal because it kills the most innocent and helpless of human beings. Abortion is legalized murder. If abortion were illegal there would it would save
millions of unborn baby’s. Supporters of abortion argue that women have the right to
choose because it is their body. Women and men alike need to exercise their right to choose before having sexual relations not after conception.   A child would be a burden, and these irresponsible people are not prepared for parenthood, nor are they prepared to have sexual intercourse
      Many women say abortion should be legal because in some cases their life is threatened or the child is a product of violent crime like rape or incest, yet millions are killed in the womb each year just because individuals want to avoid the responsibility of having a child. Very few abortions have to do with rape or incest. “Only a fraction of 1 percent of rape and incest victims become pregnant.” (1992, James N. Watkin). That means that for every abortion for rape or incest, there are 25,000 for convenience.
    A total of 820,151 legal induced abortions were reported in the United States for 2005 from 49 areas according to Centers of Disease Control, or CDC. (Centers of Disease Control. Babies are the innocent victims of abortion. Women have the right to choose, yet it seems the babies who have no voice yet are not heard or protected by the law, they are in fact condemned by the law.
      Life starts at conception in the womb and it is a beautiful gift from God whether it is planned on or not, no matter how that life came to be. Somehow society has changed so much that we have no regard for life in the womb, people no longer view it as a living developing human being.
