Introduction: Frequent Shopper Program.
Kudler will be tracking a new purchase behavior at the individual customer level and provide high value incentives through a loyalty points program. The customer purchase behavior patterns will allow Kudler to develop its process and offerings to best satisfy their customers. Kudler’s customers will be focused on quality and not price and finding specialized items. Kudler, with the loyalty points program will provide customers with points, which can be redeemed for high-end gift items such as, airline first-class upgrades, or other specialty foods.
For Kudler to initiate the frequent shopper program a decision will have to be made to determine if there is enough interest. Personal information will be required from each individual participating in the program for tracking purposes. With the Del Mar store not producing as expected this program may have to be put on hold till the Carlsbad store is initiated and producing.
A back up will be needed to keep an extra copy of data and programs available in case of an emergency or disasters. Lets face it this is California; a major earthquake could happen at any time. There is always a chance for a complete system failure do to viruses or hardware failure. This is particularly useful when isolating data that changes frequently. Keep management and technical procedures separate; do not include data if it can be obtained elsewhere. Always gather and back up data on a daily basis to protect private information. Some guidelines for protecting a computer system and data; 1) scan hard drives for viruses weekly, 2) scan and clear viruses whenever a disk comes in contacts with different computers, 3) Once again this cannot be stressed enough, back up (duplicate) important information and store it in a safe place, 4) Keep liquids like coffee and sodas from spilling on computers, 5) write protect all disks until time to be written on, 6) never leave...
