It was a beautiful sunny afternoon at the Philadelphia Zoo. The ambience of the day put a smile on my face. I heard children running around with ice cream cones, petting animals, and getting caricature’s sketched. I sat on the park bench near the monkey cages as my best friend Jill went to get tickets for the Zoo Balloon. I mused about the activities of the day, and how much fun we were going to have. I was in the middle of thought when a cute boy came and sat down next to me. I smiled abashedly and my face became florid when he asked me my name and where I was from. Several minutes passed by, and we began to get deep into conversation. I learned that his name was Zach, and he seemed like a very pragmatic young man. Zach asked me if I wanted to go and spend the day with him, and leave my friend behind. I acquiesced with Zach’s request because I wanted to get to know him more.
Several hours past as Zach and I spent our time living hedonistic. Zach told me wild stories about his life, including tales about when he used to race cheetahs in Africa. After a while, I started to think that Zach was becoming fallacious. I did not tell Zach that I thought he was lying, but I am quite positive that he could tell what I thought. Zach quit talking about his adventurous life and made several conciliatory remarks. We continued walking towards the cat section of the Zoo. In the midst of his sentence, Zach stopped talking. I peered at him ambivalently as his eyes glazed over and he developed a stern look. From the look in Zach’s eyes, I knew there was going to be dissonance
