Observation

Today in the child care center I began my observation of the children sleeping. It was the children's nap time. Just as I suspected from my last visit, the same little girl was acting up. Everyone was supposed to be sleeping and she was the only one up and talking. Right when I walked in the little girl made it known to everyone that I was in the room. I thought it was cute in a way. I don't know why, but for some reason this little girl is always the one that is in trouble. No matter the situation while I have been in the child care center she is the only one to get threatened with timeout or someone being called. I think she is a little girl that is full of energy and if used and raised correctly she can be a great person. After the little girl laid down I began watching the other children sleep. It kind of reminded me of the good old days when I was in day care and kindergarten. I thought that the little children sounded cute sleeping. When I looked at them, they reminded me of little angels. Looking at them reminded me again that in two months I will have my own son to raise and techniques that I can use with him came to mind. Another thing that I observed was something that I have always wondered about. For some reason the little children breathe so fast while sleeping that it sometimes looks weird. I actually tried to breathe at their pace and I just could not do it. I don't know if their lungs are smaller, or if their noses are smaller, or if it is simply because they are smaller. I notice the innocence of the little children and that is what makes them like angels.

Interaction
Now it was time for the children to wake up. As the children were waking, everyone except the little girl from earlier were not aware that I was in the room...
