As I reflect upon the diverse cultures, values, and responsibilities of families today, I have come to realize how important these behaviors and beliefs play a key roll in the dynamic of my ambitions and the future of my success. I believe that the strength and bond of a family creates a commitment of unity, faith and trust. A family is a pact that works together, taking small steps to meet milestones as well as taking big steps into new beginnings. These steps are accomplishments that continue to create and mold who we are as individuals. Each person in the family brings to the tribe a special “flavor” to the recipe that combines with others in hopes to make the most tasteful and fulfilling course. I believe the world today is lacking in many of the components that make up a solid foundation necessary for a bonded family pact. The statistics on divorce rates are astounding. History has shown that when tribes are moved or separated from their villages, unity is lost. The tribes become distressed and often do not have the drive to keep their homestead stable from hostility and defeat. Therefore, an effort to keep peace diminishes. This is due to the effect of the separation of belief and spirit to overcome adversities. Cooperation as a group then becomes difficult. The tribe becomes worried and restless, and less is accomplished towards everyday survival. Without everyone working together, individuals feel abandoned. The determination for survival weakens. As a result, values are lost until a new foundation is built either individually or as a group. It is not much different today, than it was back in the days of the tribes.
