Why does alcohol remain to be legal in our society and marijuana is illegal? I can prove, through multiple sources which are credible that marijuana is not nearly as harmful to your health and over all well being, you would have no reason to believe otherwise. There needs to be extensive research on this subject. This is a question that would be relevant to any audience over the age of thirteen, maybe even younger. Not because you should be doing either of those things at that age (like I did). Individuals form opinions on which one or both is not as acceptable to do or might try them at some point. Most people will tell you that marijuana is worst because of the fact it illegal; however, that is something which can be changed at any time by majority vote. This is Americans need to be informed on what this is doing to our bodies in comparison to the commonly used and socially accepted drug, alcohol. Most people cannot say that they have not tried at least one if not both of these drugs at some point shows a need for them to be compared. If it is found that alcohol causes less deaths and less harm to its users then those who use marijuana I will be surprised. There is only one way to find out. However the fact is, there is no M.A.S.P.D. or any type of major campaigning against smoking and driving, as opposed to alcohol which happens to be a major cause of death for in the United States.

I want to make sure my sources have .org or .edu sites. I prefer to find medical journals. In the rare event that I found something on Wikipedia useful it would have to have an outside source I could follow for validation. In the past I have learned by following this protocol you can cut of a lot of the B.S. that would usual comes along with your...
