Hamlet and Nietzsche
People have different views of life whether it’s pre-critical or critical. Time and truth ultimately is he deciding factors to this. In this essay I will focus on two unique individuals: Hamlet who is pre-critical and Nietzsche who is critical. I believe Hamlet is pre-critical because he believed a ghost and followed through with its claims. He used unreliable information to pursue the truth. Nietzsche is critical because he questions everything that happens. He is never pleased with the answer until it is revealed thorough time. These two offer interesting takes on truth and time. Both tackle the truth in their own way, but both ultimately aren’t wrong in doing so. Truth and time changes as Hamlet and Nietzsche approaches their truth revealed through many factors.
People’s true personality is revealed after a long life living with a certain type of morals. If they lead a life with good morals, they will have a better chance in living a good life in contrast to a life with bad morals. This statement relates to the topic that a person’s way of life from the way they dress, speech, and actions determine their future in life. For example, if a man dresses like a gangster, he will have a harder time looking for a time and will have to settle with a lower paying job because of his appearance. If a person talks bad about others and lies, they will have a hard time maintaining relationships and would have a better chance of getting a divorce. Time will reveal a person’s destiny as a person continues to live the way they do. A person can’t expect their future to be the way they want it to be because there are other factors that in come and interrupt their plans. This article explains that Nietzsche believed in freedom for every individual to live the life they want to and to determine their own path no matter how it turns out in the end.
