Women SHOULD NOT join the Military Combat
Imagine your mother on the front line fighting for our country in the armed forces. Mothers, daughters and sisters are being recruited in the army all around the United States. I believe women were not always treated equal to men, and when it comes to women to joining the military I strongly disagree with the thought of it.
The combat can be very hazardous to a women’s health, being that a women’s immune system is weaker than a males, it is more likely for a women to become ill than a male, therefore it is not 100% safe for a women’s health to join the combat. When looking at the article , “Committee spotlights Military Women’s Health Care, Spouse Employment” if women that were taking birth control had no of refrigeration just in case women were taking vitamin pills or medication that needed to be refrigerated. Most of the time it was birth control that had to be taken for most women in the military combat (medication). Women that have a high risk of experiencing major health issues should second guess themselves in joining the combat. According to the Committee Spotlights Military Women’s Health Care, Spouse Employment article women have a high risk of contracting a urinary tract infection while in service.
Jobs in the armed forces are openly equal to both men and women, but women should not be able to perform the same task as men. Women are not much physically suited a men are. Some women are in fact able to meet the physical requirements of a soldier, “while integration of women into combat is possible for those qualified, the small number versus the additional number, regulatory and disciplinary costs associated with integration does not make it a worthwhile move”.
