Rising Tides of the Passing Times
Remember times forgotten
Re-Run them in your head
You're now far from where you've been
Try and think of what was just said
You're not the same as before
Set everything aside realize
Broken plans nothing more
Please don't close your eyes
Free yourself redeemer
You're nothing but a dreamer
Thank you for your glory
Now is the end of your story
The book goes on and on
Italics, mishaps, and shredded tones
Come out as the hero tries to sing the notes
Nothing comes from the boy with wings
Leave now Crusader, Angel leave this scene
Around the corner to the elevator
Outside in the storm he walks
The thunder and lightning is coming down
Hear laughing at a darker hour
It's almost twilight
Exile yourself with a force
Never become the Lost Hope
Cut up and caught up in the sky
Stay on the ground
Never to fly
Walk pilgrim...pave your way
Wait listen to what's right and wrong
Do what's expected of you...no not today
Move an inch move a mile
All the while remember to smile
Wild child only one time
When everyone burned all the books
Of his favorite nursery rhyme
Now Fallen Embers shaken away
The new phoenix plows his way
He sings with his voice of truth
All that can hear seem to gather
Presence of the healing rains
Come from the beginning of better days
The Believers and their hands held high
Pure deceivers drop away with a sigh
Here is the beautiful truth
All that was written was to soothe
In this hour begin again new life
Much of you has been belied
Seek the wisdom and the King
Cherish these words I'm sorry they are so few
Listen all its up to you
