As surveys said the sales in the car companies are decline. There are some possible reasons, but the most important is that in the last few years a lot were sold and the market is fully booked up. A lot of new dealers are trying to sell more cars, which hit or miss. Because of this tendency of course the race is getting stronger and stronger. Our company naturally wants to maintain its good position, and reputation at the car manufacturer industry. To gather this goal we have to monitor the sales and the production to reach more information and find bottlenecks, and such things, which are costs.
Naturally we don’t want to lose market share, but we need to use our financial sources as effective as we can. So marketing campaigns has to be continued, such as production, but the quantity, amount or the ways in which these are being done need change.
To find optimal solution for this problem I apply a cause and effect analysis. The Cause and Effect analysis is a tool for discovering all the possible causes for a particular effect. This analysis tool organizes a large amount of information by showing links between events and their potential or actual causes. This provides a means of generating ideas about why the problem is occurring and possible effects of that cause. Cause-and-effect analyses allow us to broaden our thinking and look at the overall picture of the market share shrinkage problem.
The last and most important item is that a decline will occur in our profit unless something changes. What are the possible reasons of that? Firstly the market is full. What can we do against this? Reduce cost, but there are several expenses from the raw materials to the car delivery. There are high marketing, promotional cost related to the brand. Of course we can’t afford to cut these expenses off, because these are essentials in sales. But we can change the marketing strategy to a guerrilla marketing strategy.
