1. Introduction
Wine has been made for centuries from just a two ingredients: yeast and grape juice. Actually just about any fruit juice and flowers can be used, but far the majority of all wine is made from the juice of grape. The variety of wines available to enjoy is practically endless. Some of the major wine types available include:
 Blush
 Fruit/Country
 Non-Alcoholic Wines
 Red Wines
 Sparkling Wines
 White Wines




2. Viticulture And Vinification
Vinification
A process that is also known as vinification. Unlike the methods for making other alcoholic beverages, vinification is relatively simple and requires little human intervention.
Each step involved in the process of turning grapes into wine carries equal importance. Here is a basic outline of each phase of the wine making process:
1. Growing the grapes, also known as viticulture
2. Harvesting the grapes
3. Crushing and pressing the grapes
4. Fermenting these juices
5. Clarifying the liquid
6. Aging and bottling the resulting wine.
Viticulture
While many of us are aware that a wine’s flavor depends on the grapes used to make it, fewer of us known that the original vineyard where the grapes were grown also affect the flavor and quality of the wine. In fact, a grape’s flavor is nuanced and refined by the following aspects:
 climate of the vineyard’s region
 drainage around the vines
 humidity of the region
 soil quality
 sun exposure.
