That’s due to we supply more chance on talking to people who has the same opinion with us, we are willing to talk with them, but for those enemy, who don’t agree with us or who corrects us. We usually plug our ears up. However, we ignore that people whose views contradict our own can just benefit us more.

Of course there still is some difference in the conversation, but I don’t want to attack his views, on the contrary, I start to think over my view, why did his views come with being? Maybe my view has some problem. Through the comparison, eventually I would find the right answer and learn more.

Although we can learn knowledge from people whose views we share, but that is limited, ultimately we will stay in a place, in a circle and can’t move on or even back up. Only when we can lay down the burden, and listen to the people with contradicting views, you will find your horizon becomes more widen and your brain will be full of the new ideas. While you meet the person whose views contradict your own, put yourself down. Remember that the first thing you need to do...
