This is the story of when Sam the sperm met Ellie the egg for the very first time. That special moment when Sam and Ellis were individuals until they met and become a whole. Ellis first made her entrance into the fetus’s ovaries and over the years she and 20 million others like her had been produced. Out of all of the other eggs, Jane was the lucky one to get the chance to meet the next lucky fellow/sperm cell and she had no clue it was going to be Sam. It was also going to be a great day for Sam because out of all of the other millions and millions of sperm that is going to be set loose to go meet Ellie, he was the one that won the race and got to meet Ellie. Although this is when they first met, this is not how it all begins for them.
Sam’s life began in a neighborhood of the seminiferous tubules or as they call it downtown the male testes. He has been growing up in this neighborhood for a little over two months. Before the journey that Sam gets to make he travels around to the epididymis just waiting for that lucky day when he gets to make his travel plans through the urethra. While he is traveling through the urethra that is where he buys a certain coating that helps him with his long trip to meet the egg, also known as Ellie. All of this traveling starts whenever Sam, the sperm along with the coating are set free from the penis they have been evicted from with a powerful force and this is done by a powerful contraction from the pelvic muscle. This is where he is let loose from the penis and he is now set to travel through the vagina as he enters it as a man sperm and he does this proudly as he now has a purpose in life as a sperm cell.
