Imagine yourself taking your first steps into the prevalent spotlight of New York City and you will soon realize why each step is merely a memory in the works. I stood there taking a glimpse of Times Square in such awe with an immediate rush inside of me. There was such an overabundance of featured places surrounding me to the point where I had no idea where to even begin. Each one of them resembled young animals fighting one another to capture more attention than the rest.
My mind was too busy in its attempt to differentiate the countless noises to even unleash thought towards my first destination. The forceful language that the cars distributed amongst each other from horn to horn clarified their attempt to make their presence known. There was also a plethora of foot stomps repeating one after another as people were rushing all around me. It was clear everyone could understand this hastening urge that was about to dictate my next move.
I already expected to notice diverse kinds of people but there was such a mind-blowing variety I simply observed in awe. Cultural diversity is mind captivating because it provides you with that special chance to experience life from other people’s traditions and perspectives.
Suddenly my attention was stolen by a delicious essence flowing through the air as it distributed its best effort to reel me in. It was such an unfamiliar, foreign scent yet it still ignited a craving in my mouth to taste it. I distributed my best effort in attempts at resisting it as a choral energy kept me moving along. Feeling such a sudden spark of energy flow through my body, my legs could not withstand the impulse. Harmonious, up-beat rhythms conducted me after my resistance simply faded away. The words may have been captured from a different language, but they had a distinct elegance about them that simply moved with the music. The music kept getting more intense once these Italian chefs approached me nearer, causing my mind...
