I am attending college to become more knowledgeable in my interests and to achieve the ability to have more options when I graduate. I am also going to college for the experience. Everyone I know says college is ten times better or more than high school. You have more fun and a lot more freedom in college than you ever did in high school. The only thing I don’t like so far is my huge breaks between classes, which is my fault because I made my won schedule.
I have adjusted how much I hang out with my friends and how much free time I have in general. I have also prepared by doing all my homework and making sure I have enough time for it all. In high school I never really did my homework because I had enough time in class to get it all done. The only thing besides graduate that I have to do is find a good job.
I am fortunate enough to have my parents pay for college. They are paying for the whole thing but if I slip up then I have to find a way to pay for it all on my own. I have already told them this but I would tell them again as many times as possible that I am very thankful for what they have done for me throughout my life. They have made the world an easier place for me and I believe I wouldn’t be here without them.
I am looking forward the most to transferring to IU next semester or next year depending on how everything goes this semester. I want to change my major to music because I have realized business is definitely not for me. I am not the kind of person for the business world. I am however glad for taking the class because business is always a good backup. The world revolves around business so that is a good background to have. Music is the only thing I ever do and ever want to do. As long as I am playing the guitar I will be happy. Music is the only thing that makes sense to me anymore. So that is what I am most looking forward to in college.
