Bakery products are items of mass consumption in view of its low price and high nutrient value. With rapid growth and changing eating habits of people, bakery products have gained popularity among masses. The bakery products which include bread and biscuit form the major baked foods accounting for over 82% of total bakery products produced in the country.
Cookies are small and flat baked treats that are usually made from flour, eggs and butter. It is sometimes being synonymously compared to a biscuit. The distinction between the two is that the more brittle one referred to as biscuits while the softer and chewier ones are called cookies.
Vegetable cookies are cookies that are delicious and are good in health. Its ingredients like the dried mango, peanuts, cashew nuts and the Ampalaya leaves are rich in vitamins, protein and calcium. Vegetable cookie is a dessert and snack that is both healthy and delicious.
