  1. Introduction
In the past classroom management meant order, discipline, quietness and probably students who are a little intimidated by their teacher. This has changed with today’s curriculum which means learning, sharing of ideas and an environment of participation.
The disadvantage of the past classroom management style is it damages the students’ desire for learning and spoils the teacher’s love for teaching.
When you create a positive classroom atmosphere, students learn better. Every student must feel safe and important in the class in order for maximum learning to take place. A positive classroom environment does not just happen; the teacher creates it. In this assignment we will be looking at ways of creating a positive classroom.
