Are parents the best teachers?

          Teaching is something you have to know how to do and are parents really the best option you’ve got? Teachers have been trained; they went to university, or college to learn how to teach students, so they will be prepared in life. Parents have been to school but for how long and do they really know the material that the teachers are teaching you? These are the sort of things you have to ask yourself when you ask you parents for help. Parents can teach you about life in general but teachers teach you things that children need to be successful in life.

          What if you ask your parents for help and they try to help you and they completely mess up and teach it to you wrong, and the next day you find out that your parents tought you something completely different? Teachers are trained and they have been teaching for years and are very experienced at what they do. There are many good teachers out there in life not just your school teachers there are your coaches or priests people like that are very good teachers. Parents can teach you the wrong technique while teachers will be there for you and teach you the right technique to use, so sometimes parents aren’t exactly the best teachers.

          Many children struggle to have a good relationship with their parents, and can’t confide to them when they are in trouble so therefore they cannot teach them anything. If a child has a good relationship with his or her parents then they tell them everything that happens, parents can offer them guidance and teach them things. When children don’t have the strongest relationship with their parents they have a lot of trouble with school or their outside life. If a child’s parents are divorced and that child got stuck with the wrong parent, the parent that they didn’t
