At this time industrial businesses are proficient enough to decrease production expenses and make available enormous quantities of meat at lower prices, so that most families are able to put meat on the table.   They can do this every meal, and not just once a week or once a day.   The lower prices of meat are due to the industrialization of factory farming.   Although factory farming produces food at larger quantities with low cost, it causes problems such as, environmental damage, the unpleasant treatment of animals, and the use of antibiotics.   The documentary Food Inc. touches on these topics and shows how little consumers know about what they eat and where it derives from.
The documentary Food Inc. shows how most people are under the fallacious belief that their foods are grown on appealing farms often depicted on the packaging of the product themselves.   In reality only a few of these farms are present and large factory farms have replaced most of them (Food Inc.).   Food Inc. displays how viciously animals are being treated from their living conditions and at slaughterhouses.   The documentary also shows how animals are given antibiotics to make them grow much more rapidly.   In addition, Food Inc. presents that factory farming does damage to the environment due to the loss of biodiversity.  
The article “Report Targets Costs Of Factory Farming” from the Washington Post emphasizes how factories have taken a hidden toll on humans’ health.   It mentions how factory farming fails to provide humane treatment of animals.   The article also talks about how that modern agriculture like factory farming is responsible for about the twenty percent of the nation’s greenhouse gas production.   The Pew Report made by an independent opinion research group also calls for tighter regulation of the factory farm waste because they found that toxic gases and dust from animals waste was making Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations otherwise known as CAFO workers sick and neighbors...
