Usage of Mobile Communication and Its Effect in
Bangladeshi Economy




Mobile phone: A mobile phone is a short-range, electronic device used for mobile voice or data communication over a network of specialized base stations known as cell sites.



In addition to the standard voice function of a mobile phone, current mobile phones may support many additional services and accessories, such as SMS for text messaging, e-mail, packet switching for access to the internet, gaming, Bluetooth, infrared, camera with video recorder and MMS for sending and receiving photos and videos. Most current mobile phones connect to a cellular network of base stations, which is in turn interconnected to the public switched telephone network (PSTN).



Various uses of mobile phones: A main subject that has begun to attract academic interest in the transformation of language caused by wireless communication especially as SMS spreads into everyday life and is appropriated to transmit all kinds of messages, not only among youth but also in the general population of mobile subscribers. This is, indeed, one of the facts in which technological evolution acts as a factor of cultural and behavioral change in the mobile society. In this sense, oral and written languages, as well as other ways of communication, are already reflecting this transformation.



Advantages of communication through messaging: First of all our attention will be focused on the texting phenomenon. Two main influential factors need to be kept in mind in this discussion:
