Finding love and interacting with the opposite sex is an extremely difficult task. Practice makes perfect, and most men do not take the time it requires to master the social dynamic of interacting with women. If someone were to devote every working hour to meeting, engaging, and choosing women, instead of going to work and conducting business, they wouldn’t need help with dating. However, there other ways to meet and interact with women today than old fashioned traditional dating. Online dating is another way of dating. Yet they are very different methods of dating. The major differences that can be looked at are, the approach, the pursuit, and the knowledge.
The first major difference is the approach. In traditional dating, they have to meet face to face in person so they see looks first. With online dating, it can be done in a way that physical appearances play a much less important initial role. Men are more likely to approach a good looking woman before someone that’s just simply decent. When someone starts talking to someone online they are nice to them and then they get to know each other better. The first few words they say is the most important of them all. In the approach category online dating has the upper hand.
The next difference between online dating and off line dating is the pursuit. With old fashioned dating, it is more common for a man to pursue a woman. Men are not as shy as women about asking for a date. When it comes to online dating, a woman can feel confident about herself and ask a guy out seeing as how there is no judgment on looks involved. This allows men to be pursuers and be pursued and same with the women as well. The more comfortable you are, the easier things go. This factor could have a major influence on how people decide to date.
