Child Sexual Abuse: Signs, Effects and Life After
ABSTRACT
This research paper will expound on the issues that arise in the lives of individuals at various age ranges after experiencing sexual abuse as children. Child sexual abuse is something that has more occurrences than many believe because the incidents occur with individuals that children trust more than strangers. I will list the signs that medical research has given to help detect if a child has been sexually abused if they are not able to voice this matter to a parent or any other adult. By the end of this research paper I hope to have given helpful information that will enhance my knowledge as well as others as far as concern for the safety of children from people who harm children in such ways.
As a young woman hoping to start a family within the next several years I have become concerned with the safety of the community I wil live in and the places my children will be allowed to go. During my life thus far I have witnessed several dozen stories about on going sexual abuse to children by ministers/priests, teachers, family members, and more. With the information that I have gathered I will discuss the most common scenarios for child sexual abuse and how a parent or guardian is advised to prepare themselves or their children to guard against child sexual abuse. I will also give information on relationships from parents and children who have had to move forward ini life after having an encounter with an abuser ina sexual manner along with the medical findings of the mental and physical thins that occur as individuals go on in life.
First we begin with a clear definitaion of what child sexual abuse is determined to be specifically.
