Abstract:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   - This document will attempt to describe how energy is made from nuclear power and is it worth the risk. Nuclear power in a world that is confronted with a surge in demand for energy, rising energy prices, energy supply security concerns and growing environmental pressures are one of the main risks facing the development of nuclear power. It appears that the economic and cost benefits of the technology and its excellent performance record over the last twenty years are beginning to tilt the balance of public and governmental opinion in favour of nuclear power. Nuclear power is a cost effective and economically viable technology for climate change and can make a substantial contribution to alleviating climate and mitigating the destruction of the ozone layer.
