Jesus Christ and His Mission
My personal theory on the topic of Jesus Christ and his mission in this world as an individual whom practices the catholic religion is as follows:
Jesus Christ is the son of God. He is the way to the light, the key to heaven after death. Jesus is more than a remarkable teacher.
The birth of Jesus Christ, which we celebrate at Christmas, is one of the most significant events in the history of the earth. From the Bible we learn that Jesus was born in a stable to a virgin mother, Mary, which angels announced His birth to shepherds, and that wise men from the East later visited Him. The heavens rejoiced at the coming of the Son of God to the earth. His birth was and is good news for all people, in every age and in every land!
One of Jesus’ highlights was his own baptism by John the Baptist, his cousin. When John was baptizing Jesus a beautiful dove was over his head. Through Jesus’ life he performed many miracles and many teachings. One of the miracles Jesus performed was raising Lazerth from death. Jesus has cared for many poor, wealthy people. Thru the Bible we learn Jesus and his way of life. One sad highlight of Jesus’ life was his Death. Jesus was accused for claiming he was the King of Jews. After the Council heard that tried to find him but couldn’t till one of Jesus’ disciple Judas had betrayed him. He was then brought on for a hearing for death. He was forced to carry a cross to Calvary. Jesus rose from dead three days later. We now celebrate on Easter.
