Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

The story of Harry Potter all begins on Privet Drive. When Harry was a baby, he was left on his aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon's front step. This couple however wasn't exactly the most loving of the lot, they were hot-tempered, rude, and didn't have the slightest tolerance for anything other than normality. However when they opened the door that morning to find nothing other than they're nephew, their lives would be completely transformed whether they liked it or not. They had one son named Dudley, who they spoiled profusely and whom bullied Harry to no end. Little did anyone know what Harry was capable of. There was something more about Harry though. He had a scar in the shape of a lightening bolt, the Dursley's told him that it was from the car crash that he had gotten into with his parents, which is how they died. But Harry was still very suspicious.
Since Harry wasn't exactly welcome in the Dursley's home he was treated as nothing more than a piece of furniture. His bedroom was in the cupboard under the stairways and barely fit his own bed. He was also given Dudley's hand-me-downs and complained hardly a bit about it. Sometimes however when he was mad at Dudley strange things would happen. Like the glass dissapearing off of a snakes display box. One day when Harry was sent to get the mail, there was a letter addressed to him. Harry was completely beside himself. He had never gotten a letter addressed to him before. Although before Harry could read it it was snatched away from him by his Uncle. Why couldn't he read the letter? And what was so important about it? As the days passed by more letters just like the one addressed to Harry arrived, but each time Uncle Vernon ripped them up or threw them in the fire. Then there would be loads shoved under the door, until Uncle Vernon boarded up the whole door. One day though the...
