CHARACTERS
2. Which character was most interesting to you? - 1 point

I thought the most interesting character was Jesse because the entire plot revolved around what
was wrong with him and his parents attempts to try to make him act like a normal child. It was
interesting that the audience never got to see Jesse until the very end when his mother finally
decided to pay him attention instead of trying to fix him.

What was there about the character that drew your interest? Be specific. – 4 points

Throughout the play, Jesse was never seen by the audience until the end. His voice was the only known element of his being to the audience although the entire storyline was based off of his actions. He would continually throw fits and his voice would portray emotions such as anger, confusion, and sadness, but the audience was never able to actually see how he reacted in situations.
