Rock Concert

The cacophony of pre-show noise resounds definitively even from the parking lot, and eagerness fills the air along with the potent smell of camel cigarettes as the big act draws nearer. While waiting in line, it’s interesting and customary to play the sociologist and observe the different styles and mannerisms. Most people have been waiting for hours, whether camping out or simply standing there, the anxious and anticipatory mood runs thick in the air. When the gate is finally reached, the clenched ticket is practically thrown at the big intimidating guy at the door, who invariably looks as though he really wishes he were elsewhere; the adrenaline builds. There are always these fancy trick lights swirling over head all over the place in any color imaginable. The crowd pans around impatiently looking around, unaware of what is going to happen next and even when it’s going to happen All of the sudden, a huge screen comes down from the ceiling at which point the brilliant fireworks display lights up the eyes of the cheering onlookers. Coming from the stage and the band starts to raise up from the basement. Hearing that first amazing guitar riff the, kind that can make a heart melt and makes your knees weak only make’s the show even more spectacular. All of the sudden coming around there is the lead singer out of nowhere he is so close almost within touching distance of him getting week in the knees and its impossible to move your limbs like frozen with awe. As\
he starts to sing with small but loud screams the crowd arises with more jumping and yelling. The noise of the band and the crowd puts you in a state of mind that this is the best time of your life and u hope it never ends. You start yelling to join everyone else but as the voice of your own is not heard by your ears but only by your mind. So the combination of the singer and the music from rest of the band puts a somewhat mesmerizing trance on your mind sending warm chills down your entire body....
