Even though he believes helping Roy is making him into a traitor, he continues because he likes the young soldier who never laughs at the wonderments and wishes Little Jess could never tell his older brothers. After Roy is healed and had left to travel back home, Little Jess feels as if his sins are going to make him combust. Thinking that if he goes to a Methodist meeting his sins will be washed away and he would be revived, Little Jess attendees the meeting only to just look in then leave.

The fictional book, “The Demonata – the Demon Thief”, written by Darren Shan, deals with the 12-year-old boy Cornelius Fleck, who likes to be called Kernel. Kernel is able to connect the patches of light he is seeing in the air to create a window into the Demonata universe. But one day, a demon constructs a window of his own and comes into Kernel’s universe. The demon, known as Cadaver, kidnapped his little brother, Art, and ran. Kernel is torn between stating on Earth never to see his brother again or pursuing the demon and reunite with his brother.
They then plan to send Wolverine into the past to change the course of history and prevent the assassination of Trask. Before the procedure, Professor X warns Wolverine that he was a different man back then and advises Wolverine to be patient with him. Wolverine then wakes up in 1973. After evading the hit men who try to kill him after he slept with their boss’s daughter, he travels to the X-mansion. He meets the young Beast and the young Professor X, the latter suffering depression and has taken shots to enable him to walk and remove his telepathic abilities since his school has closed down because all of his students went to and died in the Vietnam War.

Some of the inmates make bets as to which of the new inmates will breakdown and cry first. It is now night and the other inmates are trying to make the newbie cry to win the bet. Heywood (William Sadler) makes the fat guy cry first and so he is the winner.
As the murderers were preparing to kill everyone, Tom attempted to talk to them and alleviate the situation to avoid anybody getting hurt. But as time progressed, nothing could be done to stop the mad men from robbing the diner and killing everyone in it. Tom had no choice but to end the lives of those two men. Tom’s son Jack is portrayed as submissive teenager that has a calm, friendly, non violent demeanor to him. At his high school, Jack is frequently ridiculed and tormented Cohen 2 by a bully who makes several attempts to get into a fight with Jack.

The story is setting in Summit, Alabama. There are four characters in this story: two kidnappers, a little kid ten years old, and a wealthy father. Two kidnappers attempt to kidnap a little kid, and they demand the ransom from the kid’s father.
The mother. Gwen, brother actually asks for an immediate removal of the suspects from that county for their own protection. The sheriff, Ozzie Walls, believes he can protect the accused and proceeds to the arraignment. Carl Lee, the father of the child, is out of his mind with grief and hate. Before the arraignment is even begun, Carl Lee shows up at the courthouse and opens fire.
