Global Warming in the United States.
One third of the world is water. If just one third of the Earth were land, the remaining two thirds are water; we would have far fewer towns, no more houses, and no more village. This is a result of global warming. Our earth is getting hotter day after day. This is a main reason for the ice melting the northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere. The U.S., the most powerful country in the world, is trying to solve this problem.
However, many of its activities are contributing in global warming. In the past few centuries, America has changed a lot in its population. The number of people in the United State increases year after year. The main reason is not from giving birth. It is a result of immigration. A lot of people come to the United States. This causes changes in the American environment. The flood of immigrants needs places to live. They cut down more trees to build houses. That is the first reason for increasing global warming. Second, they need somehow to get around. They cannot walk everywhere. They buy a car which causes polluted air. Polluted air causes a green house effect which causes global warming.
The last but not least reason is the style of American life. Immigration in the United State is an important and hard problem to solve. A lot of people try to live and work in the United State even though legal or illegal. While they stay here, they have to find a place to live. They have to rent a house or an apartment. The number of houses and apartments are growing because of that. How can we build a house? We need wood. Where can we get wood? It is from cutting down trees. The more houses we build the more number of trees we need to cut down.
When they find a place to live, they have to find somewhere to go. They cannot go by bus or subway every time. It costs a lot of money. They have to buy their own car. They can go wherever and whenever they want. However, the smokes from the cars...
