Early in my high school years, I discovered a personal truth that I have no limitations other than those I choose to impose upon myself. Everyone brings to the world unique talents, gifts, and abilities and some of mine include my strong will and my determination to be able to give something back to the communities in which I was raised. My plans are to not only use education as a tool to prepare me for a vocation, but also to help me become a self-sufficient individual who is fully prepared for life.
No one is exempt from turmoil during their lives, and I can honestly say that I am thankful to the adversities and challenges which have crossed my path because they have strengthened my character and brought forth certain virtues I might otherwise never have known.
With my interest always lying in the field of science, I could not imagine doing anything else but engineering for a bachelor’s degree. The way things work has always fascinated me for I see science as a wonderful field of exploration. It is exciting to discover the fundamental properties of the world that we are living in, and to reveal the internal structure of the appliances that we are using everyday. Being interested in the fundamental nature of matter, I enjoy viewing things from its smallest units, and hence to develop a complete picture of those things. I am intrigued by all aspects of the subject ranging from the utilization of scientific knowledge to solve practical problems, through to political, environmental and economic considerations.

I began to study Science when I was in primary school. I found Physics and Chemistry particularly interesting, because they were mostly related to the fundamentals of this world. Physics especially amazed me, since it summarizes the world and the complicated phenomena by simple and comprehensive equations and formulae.
