Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explain how important team communication in the work place is. Team members need to be educated and trained by managers and team leaders to help them communicate better in a team environment. The lack of communicating in a team environment can ruin a project, report, or a business presentation. If a team does not have good communication skills it can lead to a lot of disadvantages in the work place. If a team does not communicate directions correctly it can lead to mistakes in any kind of presentation or report. Effective teams with great communication skills have their presentations in on time and are very organized. A great team has a precise time line that is agreed on by way of communication and is always on the same page when it comes to their presentation or report. No matter what you do in work or school, or any kind of report, project, or presentation more brains working together is always better than one. “The 8 Step Coaching Model” created by CMOE (Center for Management and Organizational Effectiveness, is a global team that has been servicing organizations since 1978 with help in leadership training and team development and so on) the steps of the model are be supportive, define the topic and needs, establish impact, initiate a plan, get a commitment, confront excuses/resistance, clarify consequences/don’t push, and don’t give up. This model is used to train employees and management to become better team leaders. The importance of communication in every aspect of anything you do is crucial you need to communicate.
