This movie was not told by an Indian woman, but about her son, who struggles with his Indian heritage and comes to understand the importance of his culture. I had seen previews for this movie and had never thought it would be as good as it was, probably would not have gone to see it if I didn’t need to write a view for this class. The story that is told is one that encourages you to keep connections with your family and understand your heritage.
