I chose this regulation because it deals with the protection of the environment which is important to me. I have lived in countries that have strict environmental laws and have seen the impact of such legislation. In Iceland there is a mandatory recycle program from all containers, glass, plastic, and paper. In turn the companies in Iceland produce packaging to minimum excess. It is not about the marketing and packaging of the product but the item itself makes the sale. I enjoyed living in a country with such beauty and cleanliness. I will never forget my hiking trip around the island where we were able to drink from the waterfalls while cooking in the hot springs. These experiences are only left to the imagination of the Americans because of the pollution in the United States, partly due to the lack of recycling.
