Online Job Search is a common term, used for the obvious definition of Looking for different specific jobs online. This is mostly done bye websites called Job search engines, which allows the user to job hunt as efficient as possible. There is a large variety of size of the job search engines, and there are many different areas such as engineering, legal, insurance, social work, teaching etc… all these sections have idfferent jobs available for those in need of one. How it works, is that the users of these online job searches, mainly deposit their resumes (full complete normal resumes) on the net, and submit them to potential employers. Online Job Searching, also can work the other way around, where Employers can post job offers, and job adds in hope to find the potential employees which they are looking for.
There are Many different types of Job search engines, such as the Vertical Search, or the Metasearch, this allows the potential employees to search across multiple websites.
There are advantages and disadvantages of Online Job search. Some of the advantages are, that employees, living far away, have easy access to job applications, and having their resumes, posted on the web, gives them a much higher chance of becoming employees due to the fact it is easier to access by the employers. Other Advantages, are that those in tough positions to travel, have less traveling to do, it saves paper, it saves time, a lot of time, instead of traveling from office to office, or job to job, just clicking upload resume does the trick. Some of the disadvantages, are that people become lazy, taking one of the positive points, and looking at it from a different point of view. People just sit at their homes and don’t put in any effort at all to look at jobs, just the slight movement of your finger to click a button.
