As the headline implies it is devoted to embarrassing situations in person’s life. In the introductory part the author touches upon the “oops” moment several forms such as "Mutiny of the Body" For example the loss of control of your hands or feet, secondly minds mischief which includes uncertainty, faulty memory, or anxiety which causes person to say or do exactly the opposite of what he/she intended in psychological terms it is called the “Freudian slip” and finally situations when person makes mistakes and it is impossible to deny it
Author goes on telling about the research on these ordinary sources of embarrassment. She states that there has only been   a research on two other common awkward situations. First is medical embarrassment when people are ashamed of getting naked in front of a doctor and the other is buying and using condoms. In both cases person is ashamed of his body and its functions.  
In the conclusion author points out 5 advices on how to avoid the awkward „oops” feeling:
