Ethic Essay

Everybody would agree that internet and computer becomes more and more important in one’s life. The history of internet established on the last century, first internet was limited in a group of people, it grew quickly. Nowaday, the Internet has become an important form of communication in modern society, with a forecast of 500 million online globally by the year 2003. Its increased use and accessibility have led to a burgeoning of cyber communities, where people of like minds and common interests transcend geographical barriers and communicate with one another on a range of subjects, some trivial, some controversial, and some intensely private.    
Because of the internet became a part of everyone lives, we have to concern more about the use of it, especially the questions that ask about does the internet really good for your lives. My discussion has shown on the followed paragraph. First, paragraph will show the advantage of the internet, move to its disadvantage and finally, the main point of this report, an ethical statement. “Do the students have a right to use the internet resource for their research or thesis?” etc.
The internet has provided many good things. I displayed some ideas on the following paragraph,
1. It provides instant communication to almost anywhere.
If something happens in Washington, or Baghdad, or Bangkok or even Moscow or the South Pole, it can be instantly communicated around the globe with a few keystrokes. Digital media preparation and presentation can flash photos online in seconds.
2. It gives greater access to more knowledge.
Recently I was in a bookstore looking at new almanacs. I was ready to buy one until it occurred to me, just about any piece of information I might need is but a few keystrokes away—fresher and faster than any book—on the Internet. The Internet, through search engines such as Google, and free online encyclopedia like wikipedia.com, I can access information as quickly as I desire.
