The 21st century, an era where humans have became invincible and undefeatable. According to many, the human race is not just God’s favorite creation, they are Gods themselves. They have defied the laws of nature; it started by flying and ended by going trips to the moon. They have brought things to life many believed it was only dreams that could make them come true. Moreover, they have discovered places and found answers to mysteries that only Might God knew the answers for as many first thought. Furthermore, humans have crossed all the boundaries and borders by defeating time and distance. They have created bridges between people and cultures; bridges like the ones you move on, and some others you can’t even see or touch. It all started with the internet, a network that connects people all around the globe within seconds. Our world and thanks to all this new technology has became nothing more than a small village that is interrelated. Every single issue that happens everywhere affects us all. All this was not enough.
The internet with all its might had even more to give. It was facebook as Quininho said: “A site created by Mark Zuckerperg to give students in Harvard the privilege to communicate easily with one another” the century’s best creation (2004). This site was more like a virus in a human body; it expanded quickly more than expected, by the end of 2007 more than 60 million+ people gained access to facebook ( , ). Many argue whether this virus that has made millions addicted, is a good virus that would enrich our lives or would impoverish it.

The disadvantages of facebook are as follows, there are many risks in having a facebook account. Facebook can be dangerous especially for teenagers who don’t know right from wrong.
