Technology has basically changed the meaning of life and its struggles; comparatively every activity we indulge in is far more simplified than it was thousands of years ago. Carnegie Mellon University reports, “recruitment of its software engineering students is up this year by over 35%.” All engineering jobs are paying well, proving that highly skilled labor is what employers want!
My feelings about technology and internet are simple. In the light of the history of mass communication, there is nothing we can do to protect the media or any other form of commercial poisoning. The information and technology of the computer science has lead of some of the most amazing inventions. The digital revolution has sparked ever since the development of computer science, the information has lead to the advancement in the digital applications which has brought about the current information age. The computer science technology is the only technological field which has advanced the most in the past years, and still prospects and scope for development more than many other technologies.
The inventions of computers have been a breakthrough in the field of technology since then all sorts of entertainments and work has started taking place over the computer and internet. The days are gone where we had to get bored and wait at home to be entertained only after leaving our house. Now in days we can sit on the couch with our laptop, and spend time on any of our interest over the internet.
In conclusion, I feel that the advance of technology is a good trend for our society. However, it must be in conjunction with advance in education so that society is able to master and understand technology. We can be the masters of technology, and not let it be our master.
