As we take a step, level by level, we see things more vivid. As an example in cinemas, which one do you prefer: deluxe or premiere? Most of us would prefer the premiere than the deluxe. Others prefer the other way around. Undoubtedly, we can watch the movie either ways but there still differences between the two. One of the main differences is the place where you are comfortable the most. Next are the people around them. On the premiere, mostly we can see teenagers while on the deluxe are most probably families and lower class types of people.
Why I am setting the cinema as an example? As you can see, most of the teenagers, like us, are more comfortable on the premiere than on the deluxe. If we analyze it more, we can say that MOST of us, not only the teenagers but also all the privileged people, are not comfortable in dealing with other types of people below. Why is that? Most of the fortunate people, including me, focus more on what we don’t have than what we have. We are being self-centered yet, only some of us are awakened.
Do you think we still have enough time to correct what is wrong? It’s not too late to say sorry you know. But still, a word is not enough to justify your answer. Like we always say, action speaks louder than words. Last Sunday, the mass is all about forgiveness. The gospel was about a prostitute named Mary Magdalene who isn’t invited in a dinner where whom Jesus was invited. Mary Magdalene, whom full of love and guilt, wanted to ask for forgiveness to Jesus. She cried many tears like a faucet and she wiped the feet of Jesus using her tears. Then, Jesus has forgiven her. Then the prophets questioned Jesus. Father Abet told us that we are more likely become the prophets. We like to question other but we don’t like to question ourselves and that has become the reality of what we are now.
