To my beloved parents,
Our earth is currently experiencing an intense phenomenon known as global warming. Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and its oceans. It is believed to permanently change the earth’s climate. It is substantial and rapidly occurring. Tragic, isn’t it?
In order for us to somehow be able to help in reducing the pressure on the earth’s limited resources, I suggest we practice some earth savers activities starting with our family.
Let us downsize the consumption of our everyday needs. It is clear to us that everything we use needs resources to be produced. We should get used to living with less than eventually living with nothing at all. We can also recycle a lot of our stuffs, not just the newspapers and bottles but also the old lumbers stocked in our garage, the old clothes, the old furniture, etc. We can still put all of them to use. We should also continue on switching off the lights and other appliances when not being used. We should not waste water as well.
There are still a lot of things we can do for our earth. Let’s just first start with these little things before stepping onto bigger responsibilities. Little things do make a big difference. I hope we’ll someday be very thankful with the little deeds.
