Babies Giving Birth To Babies.

The high rate at which teenage girls are getting pregnant and giving birth to babies in the U.S.A is an issue that should not be ignored by the society. According to the publication extracted from Medline Plus on Friday, July 11, 2008, “The birth rate among girls aged 15 to 17 increased from 21 births per 1,000 girls in 2005 to 22 per 1,000 in 2006. In 2005, there were 133,138 teen births, and, in 2006, there were 138,920, Sondik noted.” Societal issues resulting from teenage mothers include but not limited to: lack of care for the baby, interruption of the teenager’s education, and deviant behaviors. A stay home teenage mother would most likely ignore the baby’s cry in the mid of the night and pass her responsibility to another adult in the house. Communicating the responsibility of caring for babies can help in alleviating teenage pregnancy.

Moreover, it is the interest and benefit of humanity to wish teenage girls’ graduate from high school and pursue a...
