In today’s world, many people are motivated to eat healthier. The motivation to eat healthier starts with specific brain processes. Drive theory explains the physiological needs of a person. There are intrinsic and extrinsic factors that influence a person to sustain a healthy lifestyle. There are two sources of motivation to look at – physiological and psychological.
