One the main natural causes of global warming is called the greenhouse effect. This is when the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere act like a mirror and reflect back. The higher the concentration of green house gases like carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, the more heat energy is being reflected back to the Earth. There gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide , methane and ozone gas. The emission of these gases has been increase dramatically over the past 30 years.
